If you know me, you know I live my life by the quote "Dream Big; Work Hard." Nothing could better describe my outlook on life. I'm a big believer in the fact that if you dream big and work hard, you can indeed make your dreams come true. I am lucky enough to have had that happen twice. The first was when I had an amazing four months in the fall of 2005, living out my dream as an intern at WPVI-TV, the most amazing news station ever. It honestly was a dream come true for me, an invaluable experience that I will treasure forever. Most recently, I had the incredible opportunity to work at the station as a production assistant for the news archive project. I also had the absolutely incredible opportunity to help in the Health Check department, with their stories and special reports. It was truly an incredible honor and a dream come true to work with the person who inspired me to pursue a career in broadcast journalism. I'm grateful every day for such an amazing opportunity ... it has been the best experience of my life ... a total dream come true and I couldn't be more grateful!! Now I'm hoping and hoping for the opportunity to return to the station and the amazing people who work there again soon. My heart is at that station and with the people there, and I can never put into words what working there has meant to me. I'm currently searching for a job, which is ridiculously difficult. In fact, I'm beginning to think that looking for a job IS a job in and of itself. It can get discouraging at times, but I remind myself to keep dreaming big and working hard! I am ALL about dreaming big and working hard, and I truly believe that with hard work and dedication, ANYTHING is possible! Perhaps GH's Kelly Monaco says it best: "If you put your heart and soul into something, you can make anything happen!"
